Politicians try to spin the science
Republicans accused of witch-hunt against climate change scientists Paul Brown, environment correspondent Tuesday August 30, 2005 The Guardian Some of America's leading scientists have accused Republican politicians of intimidating climate-change experts by placing them under unprecedented scrutiny. A far-reaching inquiry into the careers of three of the US's most senior climate specialists has been launched by Joe Barton, the chairman of the House of Representatives committee on energy and commerce. Hi Rob,
Fabulous quote from Pres. Roosevelt.
Our government is horrifically corrupt. One of my fav sites is www.tbrnews.org. I think you'd enjoy it. (Okay, I have to confess, the metatech site is fun and all, but it's countelpro ;)))
In America, the Nazi regime has been perfected. We all feel so helpless to do anything about it but bitch. We certainly can't vote the bastards out of office, because that's controlled, too. Real human beings iwth real conscience are helpless here. I am too busy in my life to do anything significant about it. Hell, I even came down with a cold so I can't hit the protests tomorrow. Those are just dog and pony shows to the elite anyway.
There is so much that's wrong, and I feel so profoundly impotent. I feel a pressing compulsion to sell everything and leave the country before it all goes to hell. Which it will.
I can see the website now: Hot American Chicks looking for ANYONE to get them outtahere!
Gee, this should be a blog!
Oh yeah, thanks for checking out my site. The conspiracy theorist in me says that those little devices are real and you're a spook ;)))
Best,
Andrea
