Retired Army general William Odom on Iraq
Retired Army general William Odom wrote an article in August titled “What’s wrong with cutting and running?” He was interviewed on Democracy Now October 4th. Odom served as director of the National Security Agency under President Reagan. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence, the Army's senior intelligence officer. He is now a Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute in Washington. He recently said, "The invasion of Iraq I believe will turn out to be the greatest strategic disaster in U.S. history." In his article Odom writes, "The wisest course for journalists might be to begin sustained investigations of why leading Democrats have failed so miserably to challenge the U.S. occupation of Iraq. The first step, of course, is to establish as conventional wisdom the fact that the war was never in the U.S." interests and has not become so." |

And the question one must ask, in light of Odom's remarks, in whose interest was the war? Who would benefit the most from the US going to war? Strategically, financially, etc. From there, truth will surface...
Oh yeah, Knox was a queer and/or impotent. Or perhaps both. With serious Mommy issues. He needed someone to give him a good spanking ; )))
With over $5 billion a month going to Iraq somebody (The Carlyle Group, Haliburton etc.) is cashing in.
It's the military-industrial complex taking control, Eisenhower warned us about it.
Knox did have issues, kinda reminds me of John Ashcroft.
