Cheney continues to distort the facts

The Washington Post has proven once again how the media can distort the news. They also show how real investigative reporting is a thing of the past. Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo pointed this out from Cheney’s speech on the Iraq war Thursday. Cheney repeated assertions -- disputed by some senators -- that members of Congress had access to the same intelligence that was provided to Bush about the threat of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction under the rule of Saddam Hussein. It is a FACT that the White House has access to more intelligence than Congress. There is no dispute.
