Bush Speech From the Oval Office

Same old song. Just politics, no plan. He keeps it simple for his simple minded base, victory or defeat, that’s all it’s about. What is victory? I guess Bush will declare victory, and then we will know.
Victory, however, will be only for the military industrial complex that is racking in the billions of dollars in blood money. Bush will be asking for another $100 billion soon to carry the troops through another year. That will push the price towards half a trillion dollars! He forgot to mention that. This won’t be the end of it though, in blood or money. Next year we will hear the same old song again. Bush has made a trillion dollar gamble and we can’t even break even.
We don't know who has won the elections in Iraq but it is a long shot that it will be a government that will be concern about our interests.
