Is The Draft Needed?
Rep. John Murtha has become a leading voice in an effort to return to a sane policy in Iraq. Murtha now writes how we cannot sustain "the President's open-ended, vague and bankrupting war policies indefinitely. He should try less rhetoric and more action." I believe Murtha is right, that a draft is necessary if we continue to follow the Bush policy, however following the Bush policy is wrong.
