Bush and Science at a distance
This is nothing new of course. "Scientists voiced concerns over being ignored or even pressured to change study conclusions that don't support policy positions". This has been going on since Bush came into office. Our policies that require sound scientific input do not have scientists involved in the policy making. Scientists are not even at the table in this administration. They are "molding the staff" at federal agencies to their politics. The only thing I have heard from Bush on science is that we are going to put a man on Mars. Of course there is no plan, just spend money.
