Scandel in Ohio

The Toledo Blade in Ohio is reporting on a growing money laundering scandal involving candidates from Ohio's Republican Party. "This is a major scandal," said Herb Asher, a political-science professor at Ohio State University and a former member of the state Ethics Commission. "We don't know the full scope of it yet, but I think one can guess how serious it is by the rapidity of the response from the various Republicans, such as distancing themselves from Tom Noe."
Read about it at The Toledo Blade . This is some great investigative reporting from a small newspaper, if only there was more of it across the country. Just takes a little guts to get the stories out.
