Bush: We've never been “stay the course”

On ABC’s “This Week” Bush said that his strategy has never been “stay the course”. Is he delusional? When he said it I almost fell over in my chair. Then Stephanopoulos lets him off the hook instead of saying, Mr. President W T F are you talking about!!! How the hell can he say that? That's ALL he's been saying for 3 YEARS!!! Think Progress has the video, the transcript and links to a couple of Bush quotes when he seems to say “We’ll stay the course”. BUSH: We will stay the course. And the temptation is to try to get the President or somebody to put a timetable on the definition of getting the job done. We’re just going to stay the course. Only a brain dead idiot can believe this hypocrisy. They actually get on national TV and spew this crap and think you are going to believe it. Everybody with half a brain knows Bush is responsible for the biggest catastrophe of our lifetime. If you voted for Bush you owe it to the world to vote Democratic. Put a leash on these lying liars.
