Voter Suppression in Virginia Now on YouTube

Supression of Democratic Votes

From The Times Dispatch
FBI looks into voter intimidation

BY JEFF E. SCHAPIRO
TIMES-DISPATCH STAFF WRITER

The FBI is looking into possible voter intimidation in Virginia's hard-fought U.S. Senate contest between Republican incumbent George Allen and Democrat Jim Webb.

Just ahead of today's election, state officials alerted the U.S. Justice Department to several complaints of suspicious phone calls to voters about where they cast ballots and their preferences for the Senate.

Holy Sh!t!!!

People fall for this nonsense!

Of course old Macacca will deny knowing anything about this.

If there is ANY justice in this world, this will be his last term in political office.

And he thought he would make a run for the presidency in '08. Ha! What a vile piece of caca he is!!!

Allen is definitely one of the lowest of the low. Hopefully this is the end of his political career. Imagine that guy as president, the right is gonna have to dig a little deeper now.

I've had 3 different people e-mail me about this already today. WORD IS GETTING OUT!!

If I was Webb and I lost today, I'd sue. If I lived in VA, I'd be in the streets protesting this MaCACCA!!

Blogger researcher said ... (4:43 PM) :

Pam, this one the MSM can't even ignore MSNBC is carrying it. It's getting too much publicity on the blogs.

Blogger Gracie said ... (5:50 PM) :

I HATE this!

These people will do anything it takes regardless to stay in power. Thanks (I think) for the updates. I guess we can't hide our head in the sand and pretend this isn't happening.

Blogger researcher said ... (7:18 PM) :

Gracie, when you actually "hear" what they are saying it's really much worse then what I thought those calls were.

Blogger SadButTrue said ... (10:41 PM) :

What legal mechanism is there for justice in a case like this? As Pam suggests, Webb might sue after the fact, but would that change the electoral outcome? Does anybody know of a US legal precedent where a vote was overturned or an election 'do-over' declared due to malfeasance? Just askin'.

BTW, CNN is showing the race as being extraordinarily tight, with the precincts that have not been tabulated being in the area around Richmond that is heavily Democratic. It may be a moot point.

Blogger researcher said ... (11:39 PM) :

SBT, it is a felony to make these calls. A similar situation happened in New Hampshire in 04 and the people involved were recently convicted. A "do over" will never happen, but prosecution is likely.
