Democrats unite against Bolton

Go to Democracy Now! To see footage of John Bolton tearing down the U.N.
Why Bush would want to send John R. Bolton to be US ambassador to the United Nations is a mystery. I can only guess that he will be used to short circuit the U.N. if they try to stop the Bush agenda.
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the Democrats are likely to vote unanimously against Bolton when his nomination to be U.S. ambassador to the United Nations comes before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee next week.
59 former U.S. diplomats and other high level officials have called for the Senate to reject John Bolton's nomination to become the next U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
